Starting the quest
So, you're investigating His Majesty's disappearance. I'm ashamed to say that I, a general of Kritias, is focused on defense and can't check the well-being of His Majesty. But there is no country without its people. I think His Majesty would understand.
I heard 'something' was transferred to the top secret area.
Yes, I took that there. The 'omen of disaster'.
Omen of disaster?
A grandiose name, right? But it's just a girl. A survivor of the anti-magic accident in the Town Square.
Who is the girl?
Well, I say 'girl,' but it just looks that way. It's not human. It's some terrifying being with unknown powers... That thing was taken to the lab below Kritias bound in chains. His Majesty strictly ordered all the soldiers there that day not to speak of it.
Someone else was there that day, right?
His Majesty's researchers... I don't know all the details, unfortunately. It seems many researchers who entered that top secret area have never been seen again, though.
Reply to “Yes”
I'm hesitant to say more, but I saw that there was someone among the refugees in the top secret area. And it was the princess who vouched for that person's identity.
Princess Ione would be able to tell you more. About His Majesty, the top secret area, and what happened that day.
To be honest, I'm afraid to know the truth of what's become of His Majesty.
