Starting the quest
(When I opened the strange book again, I was able to find a small note hidden inside. This might be Dr. De Lang's Notes... should I take it?)
Reply to “Yes”
(After carefully removing the note, I closed the book. Once closed, it looked just like any other book.)
Reply to “No”
(I left the note in the book and closed it.)
Turning in the quest
Did you... wind up finding any additional information on Dr. De Lang? Where he disappeared, why he disappeared... were you able to find any one of that? Ah... that book... that must be Dr. De Lang's Notes. Mind if I look through it?
Additional replies
(Once I opened the book I found Dr. De Lang's Notes inside! This page had a drop of potion wetting the corner of the page that I dropped right before I lost the book! How did this happen? Anyway, I better remove the note from the book this time.)
(The book had turned back to... normal. It's just another ordinary book now. I am amazed by the power of alchemy...)
