Starting the quest
Moonbeam? You monster, how do you know about my granddaughter? Did she lead you here? What could she be thinking...? Ever since she lost her connection to the spirits, she's been a mess. She just sits by the Fox Tree, staring off into space. The others think she's possessed by a ghost.
(By the Fox Tree? Maybe Moonbeam does remember! I have to find her!)
Reply to “Yes”
(The Fox Tree, right? The last place we were together... If it's still raining...!)
Reply to “No”
(None of them remember me. Not one. But... I didn't see Moonbeam. Could she...?)
Turning in the quest
Who...are you?
...I'm Shade.
Shade? ...What a weird name. Where are your ears? And your tail? Are you sick or something?
...
How...did you get here? Only foxes are allowed up here. Are you an outsider?
I came... to see my friend.
Your friend? Your friend lives around here? Is he a fox from our town? Oh, I bet you mean Tumbleweed.
I left a mark of our friendship on this tree, but... Even that's gone. Everything's gone.
