You can trade these Sengoku Coins in for some very fancy items to help with your... monster exploding? I don't really know what you do. Clear seven party quests five times each, then click the Event Notifier on the left side of the screen or visit the Event Guide.

Clear the following party quests five times during the Sengoku Festival: Remnant of the Goddess, Lord Pirate, Romeo and Juliet, Forest of Poison Haze, Dragon Rider, Resurrection of the Hoblin King, and Kenta in Danger. Do this, and you will win 40 Sengoku Coins AND a special medal.
