[Silent Crusade] Root of the Conspiracy

Hello again, hero. May I have a moment of your time?

What's on your mind, Goddess?

Arkarium was here a short time ago. There's only one reason for him to be here.

What is it?

It is as you feared! Arkarium is here to break the Black Mage's seal.

But why? Why doesn't he go back further and just stop the seal from getting created in the first place?

Freud and Afrien used all of their power to lock the moment in time when the Black Mage was sealed, just in case anyone tried to interfere. It's impossible to travel further back in time than that moment.

(Freud and Afrien foresaw this happening? Incredible.)

If Arkarium breaks the seal, your world will be doomed. Please protect the Black Mage's seal.

Please stop Arkarium in time...

Is it wise to disobey a goddess?

You were just in time.

I beat Arkarium! I saved the world, right?

Not quite. That wasn't the real Arkarium. He's run to his hideout, the Dimensional Schism. However, most of his power went into creating the Crack in Time... This is your best opportunity to strike at Arkarium, before he gets his strength back!

How do I get to the Dimensional Schism?

You can reach the Dimensional Schism through the same Crack in Time that took you here. Stop Arkarium from ever trying to free the Black Mage again!

As Arkarium grows weaker, I grow stronger. The portal next to me will return you to the present.

There is no time to waste! Defeat Arkarium, and quickly!
