Dialogue

Starting the quest

Ugh, adventurer... Please... Hear me out...

What? How are you alive?!

Actually... I'm a Halflinger that was born in Leafre. Leafre was a peaceful town with a rich soil and lush trees before I was born...

No kidding! At least, it was until you rode around on your fancy dragon and destroyed it all!

Truth is, I wasn't always like this. It's just that, when I was born, strange things started to happen in our peaceful little town, and everyone blamed me, saying I was born with cursed blood! It got so bad that I left town in a fury, vowing to get revenge.

Yes, getting teased as a kid justifies destroying an entire town... You kind of overreacted, don't you think?

Argh, your words are like a slap to the face, adventurer. Yes, I know now that I was wrong! It was foolish to take revenge on my own people... Will you please tell the Halflingers that I deeply regret my actions?

Reply to “Yes”

Thank you. I will now exile myself and live out the rest of my days quietly in remorse. Please return to Leafre and tell my story to Chief Tatamo.

Adventurer... Please...

Turning in the quest

Have you finally discovered the Dragon Rider's identity?

Yes, the Dragon Rider was actually a Halflinger who was kicked out of Leafre.

Kicked out? Then, could he be... Oh no. The child who was born with cursed blood?

Yup, that's the guy. You guys blamed him when he hadn't done anything wrong, so he responded with vengeance. You kind of brought it on yourself, if you ask me.

I understand. You're right. It... It was my ignorance that caused this horrible situation... I will have to think deeply upon this. Thank you.
