The Broker Knows

Good day to you. I am Han the Broker, the person you should have come to if you were looking for information in Magatia.

I happen to have a a piece of very pertinent information that neither the Zenumist nor Alcadno stiffs would share with you. Interested?

I'd better see 10,000 mesos...

But I don't make a habit of give things away for free.

It's a simple proposal. Give me 10,000 mesos, and I will give you my valuable information.

By now, you've heard about the missing research, I'm sure. The Zenumists and Alcadnos would each love to believe the others were at fault, but that job was not performed by amateurs. The thieves were trained professionals.

But what you may not know is that those thieves failed at first. The documents were protected by a very secretive enchantment that the underlings were unable to crack.

That's why they called in their boss.

The boss arrived, and the documents were gone. It's quite clear to any level-headed person that neither the Zenumists nor the Alcadno had anything to do with the robbery.

Yet both sides insist it was the other, because who else could have broken such a powerful enchantment?

The culprit must have been skilled, and definitely came from outside. Even I, the repository of information, could not find a way to break that spell.

Interestingly enough, the boss met up with Bedin, one of the Zenumists. I would recommend you pay him a visit in Lab - 1st Floor Hallway.

That's all the talking you've paid me for. Our business is at an end.

You're not being very smart. I make my living trading in information like this.

I would normally charge you just to hear my initial spiel, but I will make an exception today.

I do not offer discounts. 10,000 mesos, or no deal.
