Are you the one they call Angelic Buster? I am Beldar, the president of Pantheon's council. If you are truly the hero of the Nova that you claim to be, there is something you must do.

Umm, okay! Whaddaya need? What can I do?

Your attitude is more appropriate than you get-up, but I suppose the council can overlook that little problem for now.

(Gah, what a creep! I thought I looked cute today...) Uh, thanks?

The council has decided it is time to reclaim the glory that the Nova once held. We are launching an all-out attack on the Tyrant's Castle in a bid to reclaim Heliseum. However, we require reinforcements...

...I AM the reinforcements...

That's ridiculous. No you are not. We need armies, lots of men. Warriors!

Oh...

That is why I want you and Kaiser to venture out of Pantheon in search of noble mercenaries willing to aid our cause. It is a dangerous mission and may provide you an honorable death. What do you say?

Reply to “Yes”

Come and visit me in Pantheon. I will brief you there. And think about a pair of trousers when you come...

I had heard you were the heroine of justice, but I see people were just dazzled by the length of your skirt hem.

Turning in the quest

You have heard tale of the Interdimensional Portal sealed inside the Great Temple Interior, have you not? Our plan is to open that portal and send the two of you through it.

Wait, what?! What's a dimension?!

I... guess I will start at the beginning. A being named Gerand Darmoor was one of the Transcendents, beings who maintain order in Grandis. Only Darmoor robbed another Transcendent, Chronica, of her power. When he used the power of time that he stole, the portal formed. There is no telling where it may lead, but it is thought to be a world not entirely unlike ours.

(I'm getting hungry...) Say wha'?

Pay attention! Gerand Darmoor is the Transcendent of Life. Chronica is the Transcendent of Time. Darmoor conquered the Chronica Sanctuary, and took her power for himself. Chronica's whereabouts have been a great question ever since. She, and the Transcendent of Life, Aeona, are all but gone from our world.

So this Garmonbozia guy is, like, time-light-life man now? Shouldn't we all be... dead?

The fact that Grandis remains unscathed is a cause of much puzzlement to our scholars, but I believe that powers stolen from the Transcendents must be corrupted and weakened. The Overseers would not have been careless enough to create existence without a few safeguards.

...There are Overseers now?

Are you serious? Our educational system has truly fallen by the way side in the wake of these wars. The Overseers watch over the Transcendents of all worlds. They were created by the primal God to manage the flows of the universe. Much like the Transcendents, they manage Life, Time, and Light.

Is this the part where I go get a sandwich? Because I really want a sandwich.

Fine, but read up on your history! The portal will take you to somewhere none of us have been, but the rules of life should be the same there as here. If you could convince one of the Transcendents of that world to help us...

I get to talk to a god?! That is SO COOL! When can I leave? I'm gonna go right now!

...Just leave please. Kaiser is collecting some materials to open the portal. You can... do whatever it is you do in the meantime.

This is the key to freedom, not only for Heliseum, but for all of Grandis.
