Starting the quest
I've pored through the Dark Lord's Diary. Extensively. All of his innermost secrets and thoughts have been exposed, as is only fair. Anyway, he mentions Jeppi, the owner of the Kerning City bookstore. The one he banished a while back.
Jeppi must have discovered the truth about the Dark Lord. We must talk to him. Unfortunately, we have no idea where he is.

Jeppi's bookstore was next door to Mr. Pick all. Mr. Pickall might know where he's gone.

Turning in the quest
There is no lock that I cannot open. Just show it to me, and I will-- Hey! You don't even have a lock! You want to know about my old neighbor, Jeppi?
Jeppi moved to Ellinia. To be precise, he doesn't live in Ellinia. He lives in Giant Tree, nearby.
But why are you asking that? Is there a particular book you want to read? If that's the case, you'd be better off going to the Ellinia Magic Library.
