Starting the quest
Wow, you're here! Neinheart gave you an outline, right? Then let's cut to the chase. Ereve is an island protected by the Shinsoo, which means no force of evil can enter the island. Even if someone did enter, the person would have been noticed right away.
The problem is, we were unable to spot the intruder this time. That's because the thief is the member of the Black Wings, the Master of Disguise Baroq. We detected an intrusion, but we were unable to spot the fake. So while people were panicking, the thief brazenly breezed through and stole the treasure.
That is the one item that SHOULD NOT be at the hands of Black Mage! Since the Master of Disguise has yet to leave Ereve, I want you to join in on the search as well. If you meet Neinheart, you'll be able to receive a Ereve Investigation Permit that requires rummaging through Ereve.
Okay, now I want you to defeat the Master of Disguise and bring back the treasure! I, as well as other members, will also aid you in the search.

The Master of Disguise is most likely disguised as one of the Knights. The appearances may change, but the inner self won't, so I suggest you keep talking to various Knights until you hear something that doesn't sound like it would come from a Knight. If you do, you can consider that individual the Master of Disguise and attack immediately.

Are... are you scared? I can understand the fear that's creeping through you... but running away will not help you accomplish a single thing. Please think about this once more.
Turning in the quest

The Empress is very proud of your work!
Additional replies
Were you not able to find the Master of Disguise yet? The Master of Disguise has yet to leave Ereve, so receive the Investigation Permit first from Neinheart, then conduct a search of your own. Sooner or later, you'll find the Master of Disguise. I need you to really eliminate it and bring back the treasure!
