The Stolen Diary

I'm assuming you WANT something again?

You took something out of the old tent on Gusty Peak. Those were my father's belongings. Give them to me.

Your FATHER? Are you trying to tell me Chromile was your father? That is preposterous.

It is the truth. Now give me back his things.

Where's your proof? His diaries are full of great research. Chromile was a collector, like me. His diaries and research materials belong here! Now, I am not totally without heart... I will allow you to LOOK at his things. For a while. Not long. And wash your hands.

I really need his diary. Please let me see it.

You've made the right decision. Unfortunately, I lied when I said the diary was here. A monster stole it from me three days ago. I believe it was one of the Stumps, but I didn't actually see it happen. If you want to see that diary, 'investigate' 50 Stumps. I'm sure it will show up.

(If you accept, you'll travel to Perion Northern Ridge automatically.)

Why are your hands as empty as your head? Where is the diary?

None of the Stumps had it. It must have been another monster...

Another monster? It could only be...

Is that it? You can't expect me to believe you're related to Chromile if you can't give me ANY proof. I'm a man of science!
