We got word that the mad scientist Gelimer was creating a new weapon for the Black Wings. Checky's mission was to investigate that weapon.

I know for sure that Checky successfully entered the Mine after disguising himself as a Black Wing. He even got into the Laboratory where the new weapon is being developed. But we lost all contact with him shortly after that.

We never thought someone as skilled as Checky could disappear like he did. But we can't sit here and do nothing! We must find him. That's where you come in...

I won't lie to you. This mission won't be easy. It could even cost you your very life... But I think you're the only one who can rescue Checky.

What I just gave you is a Hideout Return Scroll that allows you to return to our Underground Base. It's valuable and we don't hand them out often, but this is an emergency. Find Checky and use this to return to us.

Like Checky you should disguise yourself as a Black Wing to enter the Mine and approach Gelimer to find out which lab the weapon's being developed in. Once there, you should be able to track down Checky... Good luck!
