Getting Advice from Grendel the Really Old 1

What would you like to tell me?

According to Yaku, a tree at the path to the Dragon Forest has turned crimson red. Are you aware of this?

Yes... I actually saw it myself a while ago. Minar Forest consists of an endless sea of green trees, and for it to feature a red tree... the reason the forest featured all those green trees was because the forest has been protected by the great power of a dragon called Nine Spirit, creating a force field that protected the forest from harm.

What kind of a dragon is Nine Spirit?

He is the King of the Dragons in the Minar Forest. He is also the being that guards this forest. Us Halflingers hatch their eggs and, in turn, they protect us. However, the turning of the trees is another matter entirely. If you're not busy, I would like to ask you a favor.

There is a Great Magician named 汉斯 in the town of 魔法密林 on Victoria Island. Could you deliver this letter to him? He might know why the trees have turned red.

(Accept the quest to be moved to the Ellinia Magic Library.)

At 魔法密林 of Victoria Island, you'll find 汉斯, who is the head wizard. Please hand him this letter I wrote. He'll be the one person that may know why the tree turned red.

You must be really busy right now. If so, then please stop by when you have time.

How can I help you?

I have brought a letter written by Chief Tatamo

Oh really? Please hand it to me.

Hmmm... So this is what's going on at Minar Forest. Let's see... there should be an ancient document that deals with this. Give me a minute.

Did you lose the letter I gave you? Hmmm... Hold on a minute. I'll write you another one.

I'd like you to visit 汉斯, who's in 魔法密林图书馆 of 魔法密林, and hand him this letter.
