[Magatia's Secret] Phyllia's Pendant

Do you... Need me for something? 德朗博士? Why do you want to know things about him? I... have no comment on the matter! I can't stand the fact that people that don't know him are constantly gossiping about him... like he's some monster. I don't want to hear it.

I met 德朗博士. I even talked to him.

...Did you know 德朗博士 from the past? It doesn't look like you did, though... 德朗博士 has been missing for quite some time. How can you claim that you saw 德朗博士 then? When? And Where?

That's by following 疯老头's afterimage to the past...

Don't mention him any more. You're pretending to be kind to him, but you're really just trying to make him a sinner like yourself! If you want me to believe what you say, you need to show me proof.

I don't think I ever heard from him that he had a friend like you...

This... the drawing on this item is actually a rose from the snowfield. It's the very rose that 德朗博士 gave me for his very first present. It's a silver pendant with the rose from the snowfield engraved on... 德朗博士 had promised to give me this as a present, but... if you found this at his home, then... you really must have met with him...

I have no clue what 德朗博士's studies were. Maybe he was experimenting with something very dangerous. Even so... the way the presidents of both societies have acted since his disappearance unnerves me. They went to his house, and completely sealed it off from the rest of the world. They even barred me from the place, and I'm his wife.

Not only that, but after the two heads thoroughly searched De Lang's house, they clammed up completely, as if they signed a confidentiality agreement. Since no one's talking, other alchemists started speculating wildly about him. The more they did, the worse the rumors got. I even heard someone say that 德朗博士 wanted to become the next Black Mage...

I know in my heart that that's not true. De Lang is a peaceful, quiet man who just wanted to help others through his experiments with Life Alchemy. I don't believe he was conducting the experiment for the wrong reason.

Zenumist and Alcadno. They are both hiding the truth behind what happened with 德朗博士. Those two can't stand one another, and yet they cooperate on this. They are hiding the truth from all of us, and I can't trust the ones that do that.

I don't know what the truth holds. I... do know that it is strongly tied to the very existence of Magatia as a whole.

Even if De Lang really committed a substantial crime... that's okay. I'd rather find out the truth.

If you did indeed meet 德朗博士, then please show me the evidence that you did. Otherwise, I don't think I can believe you.
