Onyx Dragon Study

It's been a long time. I had some news I wanted to share with you since you are conducting a research on Onyx Dragons. My friend, halflinger 村长塔塔曼, who nurtures baby Dragons in 神木村, says he knows something about Onyx Dragons.

Will he be able to distinguish whether a Dragon is an Onyx Dragon just by looking?

Of course! He's a halflinger, so he can tell just by looking at the Dragon's scale. If you have an Onyx Dragon's scale, he'll be able to confirm it in a split second. That's how well he knows Dragons.

(Chief Tatamo probably has the answer to why the Onyx Dragons have become extinct, too...)

But Tatamo may not tell you much about Onyx Dragons. He doesn't even tell me, his good friend. It's as if he feels guilty about something.

What can I do to have Chief Tatamo share what he knows about Onyx Dragons?

Well, maybe if you showed him an Onyx Dragon's Scale... He might tell you what he knows and ask you to tell him how you got the scale in return.

It would be easy to find a scale if you were near an Onyx Dragon....

Hm, of course. Even you wouldn't happen to have an Onyx Dragon's Scale.

What is it? Huh? This is an Onyx Dragon's Scale? It has a mysterious glow. But I can't tell if this is real or fake. Let me ask Tatamo to appraise it.

I'll send this over to 神木村. It'll take a while since it takes some time to send, receive, then reply. I'll contact you as soon as I receive an answer from 神木村.

An Onyx Dragon's Scale... It isn't easy to find.
