[Kritias] Gap in Time

Very few records remain of the war against the Black Mage. A long time has passed since then, and many records were destroyed in the war itself.

Such is the fate of our records of Kritias. I can recall only one mention of the kingdom in our history: As an example to others, the Black Mage removed an entire kingdom from existence.

Assuming this is Kritias, then the town itself is living history. A kingdom come from the past. Perhaps my copy of 楓之谷世界的歷史 will help bring them up to speed.

Even more pressing, I'd like to learn by what means the Black Mage accomplished this. To pluck an entire kingdom out of existence for several centuries... Impressive, to say the least.

Continue your investigation. Learn what the Black Mage is after and determine the nature of the castle floating above Kritias.

(*If you accept, you'll travel there immediately.)

I understand that you don't want to spend your time giving history lessons to an entire town, but aren't you the least bit curious as to WHY the Black Mage has targeted this community?

This book contains the history we've missed? Just what I've been looking for.

Yes, yes, good. I'll file this information into my brain straight away. I can't believe it's truly been centuries...

You're... empty-handed. I thought you were going to bring me something. I'll have to file you under 'unreliable' now.

Deliver 楓之谷世界的歷史 to the clerk in Kritias.
