Lionel's Journey

Thank you so much for the necklace. Lionel seems to really like wearing it. There's another problem, however.

I got the necklace so I can walk Lionel, but it does not want to take one step outside. I thought at first it didn't want to leave the house because it's a town populated with many people, but I don't think that's the case.

Actually, I'm looking at it from all sides, but I have no idea what's up. I think I've figured out what the problem is, but I'll need your help to solve it. Are you up for it?

Thank you. Remember when Lionel first came here, full of scars? Well, at the time, Lionel's white fur intermingled with quite a few strands of brown hair. After looking up, it turned out that those were that of 野狼.

Yes, Lionel got attacked by 野狼. That is why Lionel kept shivering at night when hearing the wolves howl at night.

The request is, I want you to gather up 野狼之尾巴. I want to show them to Lionel so it can grow out of the fear of the wolves. I know it's a little too straight-forward, but I can't think of another way.

Okay. Can you gather up 100 野狼之尾巴s?

Really? Well, I can't do anything about it, so this puts me in a tight spot...

Yeah! I've been waiting for you to come back here. Well, Lionel is... Lionel is...

Something terrible happened! Lionel left me!

Like, all of a sudden, two monsters, 紅獨角獅 and 藍獨角獅, came and took Lionel away.

Fortunately, they didn't forcefully take Lionel away. 紅獨角獅s came up to Lionel, and hung out with it, wagging their tails in the process.

And you know, it dawned on me, that... ah, they're friends!

At first, I was ready to take on them since 紅獨角獅s just barged into my house, but... they never attacked. In fact, when they were taking Lionel back, they sat in front of me.

So yeah, Lionel went back with its friends. Lionel kept looking back at me on its way out, until I was too far to see. I held back my tears and let it go with a smile.

That's the reason. I'm sorry you went through all that trouble to get 野狼之尾巴. This is my way of saying thanks. Please take it. It'll be impossible to replace Lionel here, but please congratulate it on its return home. (Maya was smiling, but her eyes finally shed a tear... She held it back quite admirably.)

I don't think you have it all. Please gather up 100 野狼之尾巴s.
