Tristan's Spirit

You who seek the truth... Come closer, come closer. I will tell you what you wish to know.

The truth has been clouded, by one who has lost his courage, and by another whose evil twists all of history...

It is not Jin's fault. We all underestimated the enemy... Jin, the previous Dark Lord, and I... We were all too arrogant. We thought we could outfox the enemy, but the enemy outfoxed us, with his special possession skill.

Instead of possessing one of us, he possessed little Syl, who hid outside the door. We had not warned her, so she did not know to shield her mind... I'd never seen such a cold smile on her face.

With little Syl as a hostage, what could we do? The enemy slew Sung, the previous Dark Lord, then me. Our plan fell so easily to that evil in the guise of a child.

The enemy left Jin alive to teach the world a lesson, and left Lady Syl alive as a reminder of our weakness. After that, Jin was forced to pursue the enemy in secret. So little Syl has been left to believe a lie.

That is the truth of what happened that day.

How sad and cruel, the events of that day. The enemy's trickery knows no bounds.

If any do not believe, show them my Keepsake as proof. Mu Young will have it.
