GMS v.258 brought the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collaboration on March 19, 2025. Its main event ended April 28 at 11:59 PM UTC. A temporary Tanjiro job offered its own leveling route, while other characters earned support buffs, EXP and rewards through separate expeditions and journals. Auto-Harvest and the Steam Community Market beta were the patch's system additions.
Auto-Harvest: choose the day's materials before starting
Auto-Harvest unlocked at level 101 for characters who had learned Professions; Zero additionally needed Story Quest Act 4. The introduction quest, “[Profession] Beginnings of the Auto-Harvest System,” was available through the Event List or Testran in Ardentmill.

The system gathered herbs and minerals while the account remained online, up to eight hours each day. The daily time and three daily quests reset at 12:00 AM UTC. Completing those quests shortened collection intervals by up to 20%. The farm chosen when starting stayed fixed until the next day. Stopping Auto-Harvest allowed manual gathering again; manual gathering was disabled while it ran.
Collected materials waited in storage. Claiming was once per account per day, and the next day's run could not begin until the previous rewards had been collected. The window could be minimized while harvesting continued.

Harvesting time also earned Profession Credits: up to 150 daily and 1,050 weekly. Credits were shared within the world. Angel in Ardentmill ran the credit shop, whose purchase limits and weekly credit allowance reset Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.
| Shop item | Credits | Weekly limit | Selection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mysterious Mineral Pouch | 50 | 20 | Random mineral |
| Mineral Selector Pouch | 100 | 5 | Five of the selected mineral |
| Mysterious Herb Pouch | 50 | 20 | Random herb |
| Herb Selector Pouch | 100 | 5 | Five of the selected herb |
| Magic Powder Selector Pouch | 150 | 5 | Five of the selected powder |
| Mysterious Magic Powder Pouch | 75 | 20 | Random powder |
| Mysterious Essence Pouch | 100 | 10 | Random essence |
| Essence Selector Pouch | 200 | 3 | Dusk Essence or Brilliant Dusk Essence |
These shop purchases lasted seven days. The world rule differed: purchases were untradable in Heroic worlds and transferable within the world in Interactive worlds.
Steam Community Market beta
Oswell, the Steam Market Broker in the Free Market, opened the Steam Inventory interface for Heroic and Interactive players. Eligible untradable Cash Accessory items first needed Oswell's Scissors of Karma. The scissors normally cost 6,000 NX and cost 3,000 NX during v.258.
The beta's eligible pool covered cosmetics from Surprise Style Boxes sold from January 2017 onward, with eligibility subject to change. Uploading retained the item's original base characteristics, removing later dye changes and applied skill-coupon skills. The character that registered an item could move it from Steam Inventory back into the game. Market listings had no world or region restriction, and transactions used the Steam Wallet. Players in the Netherlands could not open the in-game Steam Inventory interface.
Tanjiro's temporary character and skill progression
One Tanjiro character could be created per world during March 19 after maintenance through April 28 at 11:59 PM UTC. Deleting it allowed another to be created. The March 18 correction added one to maximum character capacity, but a Character Slot Expansion Coupon was still required to open that slot.
Tanjiro kept his fixed appearance: equipped items did not change his visible outfit, and hair, face and skin were covered by the character's appearance. Some chairs and mounts were unavailable, including Home and Guild Castle chairs or beds; T-Boy's Monitor did not display as a hat. After the event, the character automatically became a Hero with its level and items intact, restored normal equipment appearances, and could use its chairs and mounts.
Tanjiro could use Link Skill Management but supplied no dedicated Link Skill. Skills arrived automatically rather than through SP, job changing was unavailable, and attack skills required a two-handed sword. Burning items could not be used on Tanjiro, and he was excluded from Mu Lung Dojo job rankings. His training passives increased additional EXP to 1,200% at level 200.
| Level | Story quest unlocked |
|---|---|

| 30 | Basic Fitness Training and Enhanced Weapon Mastery added training benefits, Attack Speed and STR. |

Warrior of the Corps gave a party stat percentage buff that stacked with Maple Warrior, Call of Cygnus, Nova Warrior, Hero of the Flora, President's Orders, Anima Warrior, Rhinne's Protection, Pink Warrior and Hero of El Nath. Will of the Corps removed eligible abnormal statuses and gave three seconds of immunity, with exceptions. |
| 120 | Intermediate Fitness Training improved fitness. |

| 230 | Joint Training II further strengthened Beast Breathing and Thunder Breathing. |
| 240 | Hinokami Kagura: Dancing Flash combined a curved slash with a fast strike. Reflection and cooldown resets did not affect it. |
| 250 | Body Temperature Spike strengthened Water Breathing and Dancing Flash. |

The Root Abyss box contained Fafnir Penitent Tears, Royal Warrior Helmet, Eagle Eye Warrior Armor and Trixter Warrior Pants; its intermediate weapon box lasted 14 days.
The AbsoLab choice gave a permanent untradable 17-star AbsoLab Broad Saber or 15-star Dominator Pendant. The legendary ring selector offered the following untradable seven-day coupons: Master Ring SS Coupon, Vengeful Ring Coupon, Synergy Ring Coupon, Complete Cosmos Ring Coupon, Chaos Ring Coupon, Complete Sylph Ring Coupon, Tenebris Expedition Ring Coupon, Glory Guard Ring Coupon, Awake Ring Coupon, Adventure Deep Dark Critical Ring Coupon, Abyss Hunter Ring Coupon. Each coupon produced a permanent untradable ring and a permanent untradable Event Ring Exclusive Legendary Potential Scroll 100%.
The Hyper Character Burninator covered levels 11–260 for 60 days after use, but its effect ended no later than June 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM UTC. The fragment tickets required level 260 and completed 6th Job advancement. Arcane River scenarios could be skipped if another character in the world had already completed them.
The Basic Training Package was entirely untradable and usable only by Tanjiro. It contained a Mysterious Cryptic Chest, Level 30 Equipment Box, 3x EXP Coupons (30 minutes) ×20, Legendary Cryptic Chest, Selective 8-slot Coupon ×10, Prepared Pendant of the Spirit, Trait Boost Potion ×3, Power Elixir ×2,000 and Mitra 3x EXP Coupon Box. The first chest lasted 30 days and gave a 20-day Snail pet and 30-day Hyper Teleport Rock. The level-30 box expired April 28 and supplied equipment including a two-handed sword. The Legendary chest expired April 28 and gave permanent Frozen Hat, Frozen Cape and Frozen Suit, plus a seven-day Frozen Weapon Box. The standalone EXP coupons, inventory coupons, pendant and potions lasted 30 days; Power Elixirs were permanent. Mitra's box expired April 28, refilled with ten 30-day 3x EXP Coupons each Monday at 10:00 AM UTC, and allowed six claims.
The separate Mission Journal required solo boss clears; practice mode counted, but a party of two or more did not. Each row's rewards were once per account.
| Opens in 2025 | Required solo clears | Reward |

The mask, chat/label and android coupons were transferable within the world and lasted 14 days. They produced permanent untradable Sakonji Mask, Tanjiro Word Bubble, Tanjiro Label Ring and Nezukoroid; the android's appearance could not change and its Lithium Heart lasted 30 days. Training with Inosuke Chair was permanent and transferable within the world.
Support for characters other than Tanjiro
[Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba] Tanjiro's Maple Expedition required level 101, a Tanjiro in the same world and, for Zero, Story Quest Act 2. Tanjiro himself was excluded. Accepting the event quest granted Tanjiro's Support and the active Tanjiro's Support: Dancing Flash, which summoned an attack. Support rank depended on both the Tanjiro's level and the release date.
| Support rank | Tanjiro level | Available from | Attack/Magic ATT | Boss Damage and Ignore Defense | All Stats | HP/MP | Buff Duration and Critical Rate | Arcane Force |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Creation | March 19 | 5 | 5% each | 10 | 500 | 5% each | 10 |
| 2 | 50 | March 19 | 10 | 10% each | 20 | 1,000 | 10% each | 20 |

| 5 | 200 | April 16, 12:00 AM UTC | 25 | 35% each | 50 | 2,500 | 25% each | 50 |
| 6 | 250 | April 16, 12:00 AM UTC | 30 | 40% each | 60 | 3,000 | 30% each | 60 |
Zenitsu and Inosuke's Maple Expedition had the same level and Zero gate but did not require a Tanjiro in the world. Inosuke Hashibira or the event interface granted its toggleable skill. Kills of enemies within 20 levels filled the gauge: Inosuke attacked at 100 kills and Zenitsu at 300, awarding EXP. The daily limit was 20 activations per character. Only the player's own attacks were visible, EXP buffs and death penalties applied, and the skill did not function after death, under level-4 Rune's Curse, in special/story/event maps or without level-range monsters. A hidden mission awarded a 14-day world-transferable Inosukeroid Coupon, producing a permanent untradable Inosukeroid and a 30-day Lidium Heart.
The Corps Training Journal, timing test and coin flips
These activities excluded Tanjiro and required level 101; Zero needed Story Quest Act 2. The Corps Training Journal first required “First Encounter with the Demon Slayer Corps,” then the journal quest from Kamado Nezuko or the event interface. One record required any one of: three expedition activations, 300 Training Test points once that event opened April 2, or a Coin Flip Challenge once it opened April 16. Up to five records could be made per week, resetting with weekly bosses. Missed previous-week records could be restored for 3,000 Maple Points each.

| Week / record | Rewards in order |
|---|---|
| 1 / 1–5 | Prepared Pendant of the Spirit Coupon; Trait Boost Potion ×3; Special Medal of Honor ×50; Symbol Selector Coupon (300/60); 1-of-3 Event Ring Selector Coupon |
| 2 / 6–10 | 3x EXP Coupon (30 minutes) ×5; Nodestone ×100; Event Ring Exclusive Solid Cube ×200; Karma Black Rebirth Flame ×100; Event Ring Exc. Leg. Potential Scroll 100% |
| 3 / 11–15 | 3x EXP Coupon (30 minutes) ×5; Sol Erda; Special Medal of Honor ×50; Symbol Selector Coupon (300/60); Muichiro Hair Coupon |
| 4 / 16–20 | 3x EXP Coupon (30 minutes) ×5; Nodestone ×100; Legendary Circulator ×2; Karma Black Rebirth Flame ×100; Karma Unique Potential Scroll 100% |
| 5 / 21–25 | 3x EXP Coupon (30 minutes) ×5; Sol Erda; Black Circulator ×5; Symbol Selector Coupon (300/60); Transcendent Growth Potion |
Every reward was once per account and transferable within the world. The pendant, ring selector, legendary event-ring scroll, Muichiro Hair Coupon, unique scroll and final growth potion lasted 30 days; the other listed rewards lasted 14 days. Muichiro Hair's color could not be changed. Each symbol selector chose 300 Arcane Symbols or 60 Sacred Symbols. The first selector's resulting coupons both lasted seven days; the later two listed permanent Arcane coupons and seven-day Sacred coupons. Sol Erda required level 260 with 6th Job complete and could not be held above 20.

The 25th record also unlocked the MapleStory X Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Medal Exchange Ticket, once per account: a 30-day world-transferable ticket for a permanent untradable medal that could not use a Medal Fusion Anvil.
The Demon Slayer Training Test ran April 2–28. Kanao's timing game ended on a missed Interact/Harvest-key input. Reaching 300 points allowed a daily claim of EXP Voucher ×400, transferable within the world for 30 days. Claims were limited to five a week, resetting Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC. Further play was allowed after the daily reward, and 3,000 cumulative points earned a permanent world-transferable Gourd Training Test Chair.
The Coin Flip Challenge ran April 16–28, once daily, resetting at 12:00 AM UTC. A random prerequisite was 1,000 level-range kills (30%), collecting dropped Wisteria Flowers (30%), defeating two Elite Monsters or Elite Champions (30%), or immediate completion (10%). After that, players guessed heads or tails for up to three rounds, ending on failure.
| Outcome | Sol Erda Fragment Coupons |
|---|---|
| First-round failure | 8 |
| One success | 10 |
| Failure on round two | 9 |
| Two consecutive successes | 12 |
| Failure on round three | 10 |
| Three consecutive successes | 14 |
Each coupon lasted 14 days and was transferable within the world; it produced one permanent untradable Sol Erda Fragment. Ten participations, regardless of wins, earned a permanent world-transferable Tanjiro Coin and a 14-day world-transferable It's the Heart That Drives People Title Coupon for the permanent untradable It's the Heart That Drives title.
Rock Spirit's Golden Giveaway and Luxe Sauna

Rock Spirit's Golden Giveaway ran March 19–April 28 for level-101 characters, with Zero's Act 2 requirement. A check-in required 1,000 monsters within 20 levels, killed while alone or in a solo party. Kill progress reset daily, check-ins were once per account per day, and earned rewards could be claimed throughout the event. A missed check-in cost 3,000 Maple Points through the Golden Pass; availability recalculated at 12:00 AM UTC. Mystical Familiar Cards were also sold in the Familiar Point Shop during the event, with a monthly purchase limit of three.
The Legion Pass and Hyper Pass each cost 39,800 Maple Points. Their special rewards arrived on the second and fifth check-ins of a week, respectively.
| Week | Basic reward | Legion Pass | Hyper Pass |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Luxe Sauna Coupon ×3 | Tera Character Burninator ×2 | Advanced EXP Voucher ×9,999 |
| 2 | Experience Nodestone ×10 | Golden Strawberry Farm One-Time Entry Pass ×10 | Golden Tomato Punch King One-Time Entry Pass ×3 |
| 3 | Golden Giveaway Selection Beauty Box | Luxe Sauna Coupon ×10 | Luxe Sauna Coupon ×10 |
| 4 | Love and Steampunk Set Coupon | Magnificent Growth Potion ×3 | Transcendent Growth Potion |
| 5 | Golden Giveaway Box | Golden Giveaway Special Box | Golden Giveaway Special Box |
Ordinary listed rewards were world-transferable for seven days. The Strawberry Farm and Tomato Punch King passes instead expired April 28 at 11:59 PM UTC. The beauty box gave hair and face selector vouchers, each world-transferable for seven days, which produced untradable seven-day coupons. The Steampunk coupon gave permanent untradable goggles, wings, boots and a choice of Love and Steampunk Chocolate or Bonbon outfit. The basic final box held Magnificent Growth Potion ×2, Symbol Selector Coupon (500/100) and Sol Erda/Sol Erda Fragment Selector Coupon (1/30), each world-transferable for seven days. Each paid pass's special final box held a seven-day world-transferable 100-fragment coupon, producing permanent untradable fragments, plus Mystical Familiar Card ×10 with a seven-day world-transferable duration.

Luxe Sauna shared the March 19–April 28 window and level/Zero gate. A coupon added 30 minutes, but could not charge beyond the event's remaining duration. Coupons lasted seven days and were usable only during the event. Hotel Receptionist in Sleepywood Hotel or the event interface admitted a character only while the account had time remaining. EXP arrived every five seconds; level 289 and above used the level-289 amount, and Burning characters could participate. Account-shared time ran down only inside the room, paused outside the game, and ejected the character when exhausted.
The survey, Sunday bonuses and fixes
The March 19–April 1 Interactive Worlds survey was limited to North American residents playing Bera, Scania, Aurora or Elysium. It allowed one response per account at any level and awarded two untradable 3x EXP Coupons (15 minutes), lasting seven days.

The patch corrected Gryphon Warrior's sound, Blaze Wizard's Savage Flame description, Will's missing voice lines, Inspector Weapon attack animations and chairs displayed incorrectly in the Auction House. Sky Nest I's bottom-left portal no longer incorrectly led to Henesys, and Cache of Greed: B3 Area 3's vine alignment was repaired. Monster Park Extreme rewards were restricted to characters that defeated Extreme Bigfoot.
