King's Dignity

(Defeat the Lion King per the request of the unknown person.)

(There's a heavy-looking slate, inscribed with powerful letters. Take a closer look to see what it says.)

What a king needs to thrive in this barrren land is great power. A king without power cannot protect his people... Only he who wields the sword can become our king.

But not anyone with power can become a king. Since a king stands before all, he must possess dignity to lead the people.

(Based on the content, the slate seems to be inscribed with royal advice. It continues below, but the slate is too destroyed to make it out.)

(Below reads something that appears to have been roughly carved by a knife.)

Someone please defeat the king, now transformed---.

(The king became a monster? Was this inscribed by someone who lived here, hoping the king might someday be defeated? Defeat the Lion King per the request of this unknown person.)

(You lift the slate. There are words inscribed on the back.)

True charisma comes from a selfless heart. Only those who understand this can be a true king.

(Under the slate is a medal that hasn't yet lost its luster.)

(Let's give it some more thought.)
