GMS v.263 opened Carcion Octo Fest after maintenance on September 24, 2025. Baldrix and Destiny Weapons followed on September 25 at 12:00 AM UTC. The patch also added HEXA Stat Node III, changed Special Skill Ring rewards and polishing, rebuilt major interface windows, and moved many class skills onto shorter cooldowns. The events and deadlines below belong to that 2025 release.
Baldrix: entry, equipment and Soul Weapon rewards
Baldrix required level 290 and completion of “[Tallahart] The Battle to Come.” Defeating his Story Mode encounter completed “[Tallahart] The Decisive Battle.” The regular entrance was the gate in Tallahart: Phantasmal Night Sanctum.

| New reward | What it provided | World restrictions |
|---|---|---|
| Oath of Death | Level 250 Brilliant Boss Set pendant; all four stats +15, Max HP +5%, Weapon/Magic Attack +5, Defense +300 and six upgrades | Permanent; untradable in Heroic. Interactive copies were tradable before equipping, then allowed up to five Platinum Scissors of Karma trades. |
| Baldrixroid | Permanent android with access to a General Store | Untradable in Heroic; transferable within the world in Interactive. |
| Trace of Eternal Loyalty | Ten traces exchanged for Eternal Shoes, Eternal Gloves or Eternal Cape | Traces were permanent and untradable. The chosen armor was permanent, untradable in Heroic and transferable within the world in Interactive. |
| Eternal Armor of Oaths Box | Direct choice of the same three Eternal armor pieces | Box permanent and untradable; selected armor followed the world rules above. |
| Baldrix's Soul Shard | Ten shards produced a random Baldrix Soul | Shards permanent and untradable. |

The ordinary Souls supplied one stat: Beefy +24 STR, Swift +24 DEX, Clever +24 INT, Fortuitous +24 LUK, Flashy +15 all stats, Potent +6 Attack, Radiant +6 Magic Attack or Hearty +960 Max HP. Each granted Iron Will. Magnificent Baldrix Soul granted Oath Strike and randomly selected Weapon Attack +3, Magic Attack +3%, all stats +5%, Max HP +2,000, Critical Rate +12%, Ignore Defense +7% or Boss Damage +7%.
| Soul skill | Level 1 | Level 2 | Cost and cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Iron Will | Four 1,000% attacks, up to 15 enemies | Four 1,200% attacks, up to 15 enemies | 200 Soul; 30 seconds |
| Oath Strike | Summoned Baldrix for 120 seconds; 1,800% damage, up to ten enemies | Same duration and target limit; 2,200% damage | 250 Soul; 150 seconds. Summon damage used its own calculation. |
The new achievements covered Baldrix clears and encounters: A Carrot for Your Efforts, Braving the Storm, Storm Chaser, An Honorable Duel, Grudge Match, Honed on the Stone, Burning Man, Burning Heart, Carrots for Life, Following in His Steed, A Horse is a Force, Of Course, Of Course, O' Captain My Captain, Stand and Fight, The Magic's Gone, I'll Leave You to Your Foaly, Oath of Death, You're Mine!, Broken Pledge, and I Knew This Might Happen, So I Equipped Oath of Death.
Apostle's Arena: a clear and a reward claim were separate steps
Charge! Apostle's Arena ran September 25 at 12:00 AM through October 15 at 11:59 PM UTC. Mission participants needed level 290, every Tallahart area quest and, for Zero, Story Quest Act 2. Practice Mode did not qualify. A clear counted only after the Concentrated Magical Essence in the loot room was destroyed.
| Mission | Requirement | Claim window | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Defeat Mission | One Normal or Hard Baldrix clear | September 25, 12:00 AM to October 15, 11:59 PM UTC | Permanent Sleipnir the Eternal Steed Mount Coupon and Baldrix Mask Coupon. Coupons expired October 16 at 2:00 AM UTC; the resulting mount and hat were permanent and untradable. The mount coupon was untradable and the mask coupon transferable within the world. |
| Clear Mission Bonus | One Hard Baldrix clear during the event | October 16, 12:00 AM to October 21, 11:59 PM UTC | Magic Label/Chat Ring Coupon and Pale Moonlit Snowfield Background Coupon, both transferable within the world and usable for seven days; permanent At the End, Hope title. The rings were permanent and untradable; the background was permanent and account-bound. |

For the Hard-clear bonus, only the account's first qualifying character could claim. The first five parties also earned town NPCs modeled after their characters.

One Hard clear anywhere during the event unlocked a celebration for level 101 characters, with Zero's Act 2 requirement. The account gift contained two 4x EXP Coupons (30 min), one Magnificent Growth Potion, ten VIP Boosters and a Phantasmal Energy Effect Coupon. Those transferable rewards expired October 16 at 2:00 AM UTC; the effect itself was permanent and untradable. Starting on the first-clear day, the daily gift supplied two VIP Buff Selector Coupons with one-day duration.

Destiny Weapons: three solo fights and 7,500 determination
The Destiny Weapon quest opened at level 275 after “[Genesis Weapon] Power Unbound, Stage 2,” receipt of a Genesis Weapon, and “[Shangri-La] Light Through the Shade.” Shangri-La's story could be completed through its summary or instant-completion options. “[Destiny Weapon] Shangri-La's Call” led to Weio at Four Seasons Pavilion.
| Quest | Required solo Destiny Mode clear | Battle modifier | Adversary's Determination |
|---|---|---|---|
| Battle of the Chosen | Chosen Seren | Final Damage -80% | 2,000 |
| Battle of the Guardian | Kalos the Guardian | Three deaths | 2,500 |
| Battle of the Apostle | Kaling | Final Damage +20% | 3,000 |
The respective Decisive Battle achievements accompanied those clears. Boss rewards supplied the determination:
| Boss | Difficulty and determination before party division |
|---|---|
| Seren | Hard 6; Extreme 80 |
| Kalos | Normal 10; Chaos 70; Extreme 400 |
| Kaling | Normal 20; Hard 160; Extreme 1,200 |
| Limbo | Normal 120; Hard 360 |
| Baldrix | Normal 150; Hard 450 |
The total was divided among participating party members. A character could hold up to 3,000, and excess from one quest carried into the next. Completing “[Destiny Weapon] The Adversary's Weapon” after all three battles transformed the weapon and announced it through a system message.
The transformation transferred the Genesis Weapon's potential, bonus stats and Soul Weapon state at level 250 values. Destiny Weapons were untradable, limited to one per character and fixed at 22 stars, with no further Star Force or scroll enhancement. Their item requirement was level 250; the quest's level 275 requirement remained separate.
| Weapon family | Weapons listed in v.263 | Base stat pair |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior and physical ranged | Destiny Bladecaster, Destiny Saber, Destiny Katana, Destiny Lapis, Destiny Lazuli, Destiny Ellaha, Destiny Axe, Destiny Hammer, Destiny Two-Handed Sword, Destiny Two-Handed Axe, Destiny Two-Handed Hammer, Destiny Spear, Destiny Polearm, Destiny Whispershot, Destiny Ancient Bow, Destiny Bow, Destiny Crossbow, Destiny Dual Bowguns, Destiny Soul Shooter, Destiny Martial Brace, Destiny Claw, Destiny Pistol, Destiny Blast Cannon | STR +190 and DEX +190 |
| Demon Avenger | Destiny Desperado | STR +190 and Max HP +3,040 |
| Magic weapons | Destiny Shining Rod, Destiny Memorial Staff, Destiny Celestrial Light, Destiny Psy-limiter, Destiny Lucent Gauntlet, Destiny Fan, Destiny Wand, Destiny Staff | INT +190 and LUK +190 |
| Thief and hybrid weapons | Destiny Energy Chain, Destiny Chain, Destiny Ritual Fan, Destiny Chakram, Destiny Dagger, Destiny Cane, Destiny Guards | DEX +190 and LUK +190 |
Every weapon in that table also supplied Boss Damage +30% and Ignore Defense +20%. Class-specific forms included Adele's Bladecaster, Hayato's Katana, Zero Alpha's Lazuli and Beta's Lapis, Blaster's Ellaha, Luminous's Shining Rod, Lynn's Memorial Staff, Sia Astelle's Celestrial Light, Kinesis's Psy-limiter, Illium's Lucent Gauntlet, Kanna's Fan, Kain's Whispershot, Pathfinder's Ancient Bow, Xenon's Energy Chain, Cadena's Chain, Hoyoung's Ritual Fan, Khali's Chakram, Angelic Buster's Soul Shooter and Mo Xuan's Martial Brace.
Equipping a Destiny Weapon granted Decisive Willpower, a permanent 10% Final Damage passive, and Undying Determination. The active skill gave ten seconds of invincibility on a 120-second cooldown. Canceling it early triggered seven 1,500% attacks against up to twelve enemies.
Losing a Genesis Weapon during this quest allowed reissue through “[Destiny Weapon] Weapon Reissue,” but restarted quest progress and discarded the lost weapon's stats. Losing the completed Destiny Weapon restarted both the Genesis and Destiny quest lines, again without preserving its stats.
HEXA Stat Node III and the new MVP ranks
HEXA Stat Node III required level 270 and a level 20 Node II. Activation cost 15 Sol Erda plus 350 Sol Erda Fragments. Its main and additional stats could not repeat those chosen in Nodes I and II. Resets became available at rank 10; resetting Node III cost 35,000,000 mesos.

MVP Bronze I through IV merged into Bronze, and Black became the highest rank. The spending requirement used NX spent within three months.
| Rank | NX requirement | Weekly 3x EXP / 50% EXP coupons | Weekly Superpower buffs | Monthly Resort hours | Monthly Sol Erda |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 150,000 | 3 / 3 | 3 | 3 | None |

Red and Black received daily all-region Symbol quest Express Passes, weekly all-region Symbol quest passes, seven daily Monster Park passes, one weekly Monster Park Extreme pass, one weekly Epic Dungeon pass and one daily all-Tenebris quest pass. The September 29 correction specified one weekly Legion quest type for Red and two for Black.
Both highest ranks also received fourteen weekly 4x EXP Coupons (30 min) and fourteen 70% Bonus EXP Coupons; Black added ten 70% atmospheric effects. Weekly coupons lasted thirty days. In Heroic all weekly perk items were untradable. Interactive 50% and 70% Bonus EXP coupons were tradable, the atmospheric effect untradable, and the other listed weekly items transferable within the world.

Monthly titles and medals were untradable and expired at month end. Every rank also received an MVP Unlimited Elixir and MVP Basic Damage Skin (Unit) for that month. Gold and above received a Kinship Ring; Diamond and above an EXP Boost Ring (15%); Red and Black an MVP Chair and Label/Chat Ring; Black also a Prepared Pendant of the Spirit. Those monthly items were untradable. Monthly Sol Erda was transferable within the world, and Resort time account-bound.

The Resort admitted level 101 characters, with Zero's Act 2 requirement, through “Move” in the MVP window. It granted level-based EXP every five seconds; characters level 289 and above used the level 289 amount. Account-wide time reset on the first of each month at 12:00 AM UTC and did not carry over.

Common skills: shorter cycles and different defensive tools
The common-skill changes affected how a burst was started, maintained and canceled. A lower damage coefficient accompanied a shorter cooldown in several job changes, so a coefficient alone does not establish the patch's overall damage result.
| Skill | Change in v.263 |
|---|---|
| Memories | Attack/Magic Attack bonus 30% to 25%; cooldown 150 to 120 seconds. |
| Mind Delve | The selected spell persisted after login. |
| Weapon Aura | At level 25, preparation 180 to 120 seconds and duration 130 to 89 seconds; Pet Buff Auto Skill registration added. |
| Fury of the Wild; Defender of the Demon | Air casting added. |
| Phalanx Charge | Stationary summoning mode added. |
| Roll of the Dice | Pet Buff Auto Skill registration added. |
| Freud's Wisdom | Stacks persisted through death; invincibility visuals ignored the skill-transparency setting. |
| Erda Nova | Concurrent casting with other skills became possible, except Origin skills. Its use after Assassinate and HEXA Pulverize was repaired. |
| Erda Shower; Erda Fountain; Sol Janus | Descriptions clarified where Final Damage bonuses applied. |
| Ethereal Form | Level 25 cooldown 60 to 63 seconds; invincibility replaced damage reduction. |
| Last Resort | Level 25 Stage 1 Final Damage 12% to 9%, Stage 2 29% to 23%, Stage 2 damage taken 30% to 20%; cooldown 78 to 63 seconds. |
| Shadow Walker | Duration 30 to 20 seconds; level 25 cooldown 185 to 125 seconds. |
| Pirate's Banner | Its caster retained the effect away from the flag; cooldown removed. Other-player transparency no longer made it disappear incorrectly. |
Repeating a skill at one location was no longer restricted in boss fights, Sharenian Culvert or Forest Training Grounds. Appearance-switch delays were repaired for Anima Shapeshift, Kaiser Tail, Generator Mark Remover, Demon Markings Remover, Abyssal Ritual Remover and Call Monkey. Final-hit status protection was repaired for Calamitous Cyclone, Rapid Throw, Smashing Multipunch, Mighty Mascot, Endless Agony and HEXA Endless Agony.
Cutscenes no longer showed the unintended effects of Weapon Aura, Adrenaline Rush, Adrenaline Overload, HEXA Dark Metamorphosis, Spinning Dimensional Sword, Dragonflare and Storm. Confusion correctly reversed direction inputs for Thunder, White Heat Rush and Diagonal Chase. Additional fixes addressed platform summon positions, skills failing in particular content, and the temporary inability to use Decent Holy Fountain, Aeonian Rise or Undying Determination after certain skills.
Class changes: numeric adjustments and the mechanics beside them
The values below retain their stated skill levels and units. An arrow shows the old value followed by v.263's value. Approximate timing changes remain approximate. Skill-description edits without a stated mechanical change do not establish an additional buff or nerf.
Hero
Rending Edge's scars lasted through more attacks, gained a per-enemy hit limit and had about 14% shorter attack intervals; its buff icon and effects seen by other players were repaired. Flash Blade no longer needed a nearby enemy, allowed two consecutive uses and had its disconnect issue corrected. Enrage became passive and stopped reducing target count. Instinctual Combo added Soul Trace after Spirit Calibur's slash and its own final hit. Login and the main interface
Fast Login used one favorite character per account. It was selected through the star in Character Info or “Manage” on character selection; a world leap required setting the favorite again. Without a favorite, the interface displayed the last-used character without registering it as the favorite.

World selection added event-world information, World Merge groupings and each world's character count. Character selection's Manage window reordered characters and explained deletion blocks. Job selection added filters and previews of class art and skill animations. Character creation combined name, gender and appearance in one step, with the name visible under the live preview.

The character name and level moved to the lower-left corner. HP/MP bars and their numbers became larger. Esc or the Quick Menu button opened the full Menu. The previous menu buttons beside quick slots were replaced by a configurable Quick Menu with up to eight functions; Edit mode in the full Menu set them. Quick slots supported layouts from 4 × 2 through 16 × 2, alignment choices and locking against accidental edits.

Equipment, decorations and inventory
The Equipment window previewed the character over the chosen Character Info background. It managed equipment, pets, symbols, title/medal appearances and totems. Zero could not use its weapon-enhancement tab. Titles and medals registered by drag-and-drop. Pet Auto-Potion settings moved from Options into the Pet tab, retaining the old values.

The new Decoration window, opened with O, combined outfits, androids, Damage Skins and Beauty Salon. Right-clicking an equipped outfit item toggled its effect. Damage Skins gained search. Beauty Salon showed saved looks and available slots, supplied three default slots per category and supported up to one hundred saved looks. It switched to pages beyond twelve slots, previewed saved hair or faces on the fully equipped character, and supported Zero's Alpha/Beta and Angelic Buster's transformed appearance.

Inventory search suggested matching items, except in minimized view. Bag access became available from every tab; Shop appeared only with an android that provided a shop. Extraction and fusion shared one window usable in towns. Expand Slot used owned expansion slots or led to the Cash Shop. Transfer Hammer became Equipment Transfer, and the lock control moved directly onto Inventory. The September 24 correction raised the meso cap to 1,999,999,999,999.

The combined Bag window managed Souls, scrolls, recipes, minerals, herbs, production items, coins, chairs and titles. Party Quest bags and Albums remained exceptions. Up to five mineral/herb/production bags could be open together; up to five duplicate Party Quest bags were supported.

Enhancement, travel, tooltips and key bindings
Enhance combined Star Force, scrolls, bonus stats, potential, bonus potential, Exceptional, Soul Weapon, Trace Restoration and Special Skill Ring Polish. Enhancement animations had a skip option. Return Scrolls, Shielding Wards, Guardian Scrolls and Shield Scrolls could be used in the relevant enhancement flows. MVP Gold and higher could reroll potential or bonus stats three times, compare all three results with the original and choose one or retain the original.

“Destroy” meant an item could be restored with available Equipment Traces; “Annihilate” meant no spare traces remained for recovery. Star Force displayed the meso cost by default and success chances to two decimal places. Enhancement Scrolls opened their own selection interface. Scrolls separated Spell Traces from exclusive scrolls and displayed Diligence, Guild Skill and other success bonuses.

All owned Rebirth Flames were selectable in Bonus Stats. Before/after choices opened a dedicated comparison. Potential likewise displayed its meso cost and enlarged its before/after view; Potential Scrolls opened a dedicated interface.

Trace transfer showed the trace, material, final stats and required material count. Soul Weapon listed owned Souls and the resulting stats. Exceptional moved into Enhance without changing its function. Special Skill Ring Polish displayed stat differences and allowed exchanging the levels of rings already at level 4 or above. Zero weapon transfers always carried bonus and scroll stats, removing the old optional checkbox.

Town Menu replaced Quick Move's presentation with a dropdown retaining its functions. Dimensional Mirror instead led to Grand Athenaeum and party quests. Conference Pavilion, Ghost Park and Tower of Oz moved to Maple Guide entry.

Equipment tooltips grouped enhancement and trade information, base stats and set effects. Scroll enhancements, bonus stats, potential and bonus potential appeared near the top. At 23 stars the tooltip added an effect; equipped items explicitly displayed “Equipped.” All Stats % moved below individual stats, and potential/bonus values and tiers used colors. Interact/Harvest expanded abbreviated enhancement details outside boss battles. Pet tooltips showed level, fullness and closeness; right-click opened pet skills.

Key Bindings added category filtering while preserving already assigned keys in view. Selecting an assigned key showed its location, and a second selected key changed the binding. Its category colors were cyan for Character/Item, yellow Adventure, purple System, gray Character Controls, lime Community, pink Convenience and green Chat, with icons for Emoticons. A Skill button opened the Skill window.

Notifications and the Cash Shop
The left notifier kept major updates. Maple Planner moved to Menu or Quick Menu, and the Reward Points icon disappeared. Boss Reward Points were claimed from Menu or a Boss Content entry set in Maple Planner. My Notifications collected expiring Artifact stats, Artifact missions, achievements, Notes, Guild Notices, storage changes, completed Meso Market transactions, Monster Collection explorations and Legion gifts. Friend/Guild/Alliance login notices became chat messages, and invitation accept/decline controls grew larger.

| Cash Shop area | Contents or changed function |
|---|---|
| Maple Points | Dedicated purchase and management tab |
| Seasonal | Time-limited seasonal items |
| Special | Surprise Style Boxes, Wonderberry, Special, Maple Rewards, Luna Crystal and Philosopher's Book; the book appeared only during its sale |
| Utilities | Cubes, scrolls, convenience, pets, pet equipment/skills/food, social items, atmospheric effects and slot coupons |
| Character preview | Larger equipped-item preview |
| Cash Inventory | Larger Cash and character inventories for item management |

Recharge NX, History and Coupon buttons retained their functions with new designs. Maple Points led directly to its tab; Rates Info opened the Cash Shop rates page.
Other interface changes added an Auction House Shield category and double-click character switching. The chat window could be narrower, hid buttons that no longer fit, and displayed emoticon names. Storage hid decoration items that could not be stored, and gauge changes targeted client lag.
Corrections repaired inactive HEXA nodes appearing active, HEXA Stat button hit areas, deleted characters remaining in Link presets, Auction House Z-A sorting and incorrect cash-exchange tooltips. Quest-notifier movement, acceptance lag and completion refresh were repaired. Legion Champion's SSS Magician banner showed its correct effect. Chat fixes covered duplicate emoticon tooltips, external-window resolution changes, missing cutscene chat and window disappearance across maps while minimized. Angler Company's Story Mode map corner was realigned.
Story, maps, items and the Auction House
Grand Athenaeum added Book of the Commander, Projector and Record Archive. The Commander book replayed History's Origin; Projector showed videos. Record Archive added Maple World Flavors for Henesys, El Nath, Edelstein and Perion, The Boy Who Wished to Fly, Seeing Kritias, Tales of Victoria Island, Damaged Records, Complaint Records, and the Scattered Determination, Save the Soldiers, Help from Above, Flame Bird Support and Twilight Defense mission books.

Book of Grandis added Tallahart and Extradimensional Visitors after the Tallahart-clear achievement, Identisk after Convergence and Strange Tides after Carcion. Book of Arcane River returned with a new sub-story. Stories offered full playback and summaries.
Tallahart's added quest chain comprised [Tallahart] Lingering Embers, [Tallahart] An Unlikely Source, [Tallahart] The Phantom Crystal Ball, [Tallahart] Memory of Sisters, [Tallahart] Crystal Clear, [Tallahart] Of Betrayers and the Bygone, [Tallahart] Peer into the Abyss, [Tallahart] First Contact, [Tallahart] Phantasynch, [Tallahart] Friend or Foe?, [Tallahart] Et Tu, Prague?, [Tallahart] The Covenant, [Tallahart] To Prague and Back, [Tallahart] A Voice from on High, [Tallahart] A Disturbance in the Phantasm, [Tallahart] Caught Out, [Tallahart] Secrets of the Knights, [Tallahart] Resolve, [Tallahart] Ashes in the Wind, [Tallahart] Sieg's Chest, [Tallahart] The Pendant is Key, [Tallahart] Within and Without, [Tallahart] Long Held Secret and [Tallahart] Phantasmal Legacy. Arcane River cutscenes gained voiceovers. “[Genesis Weapon] Trailing the Traces of the Black Mage” appeared in the level-range quest list even at level 275 and above.
Quest fixes repaired Dual Blade's third-job Guide destination, Challenger World reward-button delay, Silent Crusade's To the Past text and unclear Hoyoung/Adele Another World instructions. End of Special Training's starting condition and the navigation for An Alchemist's Desire 2, Please Find My Little Brother and Transformed Erda were corrected. Arcane River Afterword hid Zero-only text from other classes; Rough Climb's background, Neinheart's Briefing duplication, Kaiser Awakening icons, Seya's Another World departure dialogue and Mercedes's Journal category were repaired.

Grandis gained Erimos Harbor, Ristonia Harbor and Savage Terminal Hub, revised Marketplace and Sun-Mottled Plateau, added Seya, Beckle and Hazul, and removed Shalala, Torbil, Deba and Sosori. Tallahart added Aoe and Tirnog. Zero Mirror World disabled Intrusion and put its exit beneath the mini-map; World Party Quest no longer allowed changing the Character Info background.
Map fixes addressed Champion Raid restarts, High Mountain's Stage 10 resolution scene and Stage 8 ropes, Angler Company's Stage 7 suit spawns, event travel from Guardsman Crossway, Elite Champion placement and Cernium: Palace Main Hall's background.
Golden Hammers stopped enhancing equipment after September 24 maintenance. Using a retained hammer instead supplied Spell Traces: 4,800 for 20%, 12,000 for 50%, 16,800 for 70% and 24,000 for 100%. Existing eligible equipment gained two upgrade slots if never hammered, one if hammered once and none if hammered twice. Newly obtained equipment gained two slots only when it had previously been eligible for Golden Hammer use.
Other item changes updated Burninator confirmations and Guild Blessing icons, added music to Merry-go-round Music Box Chair, and gave content-clear items to every party member regardless of pickup rights. Item Tags and Item Tag Clear items worked on unequipped items. Kinesis Intelligent Eyes became Intellectual Face. Blessing of the Guild could not be wasted over an active Greater Blessing, and Ruin Force Shield's extra damage taken became 15%. Fixes covered Style Magazine Chair previews, Hyper Space Cape's red dot, Secret Future Bike Chair text, Zero's Sharp/Massive Shadow enhancement, Athletic Skin color, Eternal Lash hair positioning and Kitty Bell sleeves.
Auction House listings could last 24 or 48 hours, with thirty default sale slots and 120 default purchase slots. Inactive-character flagging ran from September 24 maintenance until November 12 maintenance, with removal afterward. Opening an affected world's Character Selection displayed confirmation that its characters were no longer flagged; the absence of that popup meant none in that world had been flagged. The patch note did not itself enumerate the separate inactivity-selection criteria.
Boss rings and polishing a level 6 ring
Life Boss Ring Box joined the reward pools of Chaos/Extreme Kalos the Guardian, Hard/Extreme Kaling, Normal/Hard Limbo and Normal/Hard Baldrix. Grindstone of Faith came from Normal/Hard Limbo and Baldrix. Item Drop Rate effects applied to these drops; the patch supplied no numerical drop probability.
The permanent, untradable Life Boss Ring Box could contain Ring of Restraint, Continuous Ring, Weapon Jump S Ring, Weapon Jump D Ring, Weapon Jump I Ring, Weapon Jump L Ring, Risk Taker Ring, Totalling Ring, Critical Damage Ring or Grindstone of Life. Its ring-level distribution was 30% level 3 and 70% level 4. The resulting permanent items were untradable in Heroic worlds; Interactive versions could move within their world until equipped.
Grindstone of Faith polished a level 5 ring toward level 6. Choosing more grindstones increased the stated success chance and meso charge together:
| Grindstones per polishing attempt | Meso charge | Success chance |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1,000,000,000 | 5% |
| 2 | 2,000,000,000 | 10% |
| 3 | 4,000,000,000 | 15% |
| 4 | 7,000,000,000 | 20% |
| 5 | 10,000,000,000 | 25% |
| Level 6 ring | Effect |
|---|---|
| Ring of Restraint | Inside its area, ATT and Magic ATT +95% for 20 seconds |
| Continuous Ring | After 120 seconds of preparation following equipment, an attack triggers Boss Damage +195% and ATT/Magic ATT +14% for 8 seconds; 12-second cooldown |
| Risk Taker Ring | ATT/Magic ATT +48% for 40 seconds; receiving a hit removes the buff |
| Weapon Jump S Ring | STR increase equal to 385% of the equipped main weapon's higher ATT or Magic ATT, for 20 seconds |
| Weapon Jump D Ring | DEX increase using the same 385% formula, for 20 seconds |
| Weapon Jump I Ring | INT increase using the same 385% formula, for 20 seconds |
| Weapon Jump L Ring | LUK increase using the same 385% formula, for 20 seconds |
| Totalling Ring | Main stat increase equal to 2% of the sum of all stats, for 20 seconds |
| Critical Damage Ring | Critical Damage +30% for 20 seconds |
The active rings cost 600 HP and, after the September 23 correction, had 120-second cooldowns. Continuous Ring retained its separate 12-second trigger cycle. Weapon Jump and Totalling applied Demon Avenger's HP conversion at 17.5 times the stated stat value. The correction also changed Special Skill Rings' listed 180-second cooldown to 120 seconds.
White Jade Boss Ring Box stopped dropping from the bosses receiving Life Boss Ring Box. Easy Kalos and Easy Kaling stopped dropping Grindstone of Life. Grade prefixes disappeared from Green Jade Boss Ring Box, Red Jade Boss Ring Box, Black Jade Boss Ring Box and White Jade Boss Ring Box.

| Extreme Kalos, phase 2 | Ordinary Eye intervals grew about 8%; Enhanced Eye intervals grew about 10%; Eye of Penitence's firing count was adjusted without a published numerical replacement |
| Chaos/Extreme Kalos, phases 1 and 2 | Eye of the Abyss and its enhanced version imposed less restricted vision |
| Kaling, phase 1 | Taowu Electric Current Release activations fell from ten to one; Spring of Lost Vitality platforms changed height; Qiongqi's Forward Flap, Rear Flap and Halo Explosion respected debilitating-status protection |
| Kaling, phase 3 | An activated Four Seasons of Death statue could hit a Beast early; Frenzied Kaling's Asura respected status protection and the stun tooltip was repaired |

The Kaling family also regained correct stun susceptibility for Qiongqi, Taowu, Hundun, Kaling, their Death-Gripped forms and Frenzied Kaling.
Carcion Octo Fest: check-ins, coins and hunting
Strange Tides and Carcion Octo Fest ran from September 24 after maintenance through November 11 at 23:59 UTC. Characters needed level 101, with Zero having completed Act 2, and the “[Strange Tides] To Carcion” quest. Kyrin's invitation led to Carcion's Sunset Octopus Beach. Characters that had left Challenger World could participate. Valerie or the Event List opened Carcion Octo Fest, whose progress was shared across the account.

Daily Fest Prep required its check-in button rather than a hunting quota. It allowed one completion a day, five a week and thirty in total. Every check-in supplied three 3x EXP Coupons lasting 30 minutes, six Fatty Octo and six Tender Octo. The EXP coupons could move within the world and were usable until November 12 at 14:00 UTC. A missed daily completion cost 3,000 Maple Points through Daily Fest Pass; available missed-pass purchases reset Wednesday at 00:00 UTC.
Each numbered day also offered a choice between the listed item and its Coral Coin alternative. These were alternatives to each other; the daily EXP and ingredients were separate.

Symbol Selector Coupon offered 300 Arcane Symbol Selector Coupons or sixty Sacred Symbol Selector Coupons, with the resulting selectors lasting seven days. The skin selector produced a permanent world-transferable Rosy, Flushed, Athletic or Pale Gray coupon. Octo-familyroid was permanent and untradable in Heroic worlds, or world-transferable in Interactive worlds.

The mount and damage skin were permanent and untradable after redemption. Carcion Octo-hunter Set contained Carcion Octo-hunter Bandana, Carcion Octo-hunter Waders, Carcion Octo-hunter Boots, Carcion Octo-hunter Shell and Carcion Octo-hunter Net Launcher, all permanent and untradable. Octo Fest Background was permanent and account-bound.

Weekly Fest Prep counted 2,000 kills within twenty levels of the character, alone or in a solo party. It allowed three check-ins weekly and eighteen overall, each awarding 1,800 Coral Coins. Weekly Fest Pass cost 3,000 Maple Points per missed check-in, with availability resetting Wednesday at 00:00 UTC.
Octo Hunt used five successive stages of 10,000 level-range kills each. Account characters contributed to the same progress, but kills still required no party or a solo party. Finishing the stages completed that week's Basic Hunt; Complete accumulated rewards and Claim collected them during the event.
| Hunt stage | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1 | Luxe Sauna Coupon ×2 |
| 2 | Luxe Sauna Coupon ×2 |
| 3 | Luxe Sauna Coupon ×2 |
| 4 | Advanced EXP Voucher ×1,000 |
| 5 | Sol Erda ×1 |
Sauna coupons remained usable only until November 11 at 23:59 UTC; the EXP vouchers and Sol Erda until November 12 at 14:00 UTC. All could move within the world. Basic Hunt and Bonus Hunt each allowed one completion weekly, seven across the event. An Octo Hunt Pass cost 14,900 Maple Points to finish the current Basic Hunt, awarding no duplicate rewards for already-cleared stages and covering no missed week. Completing Basic Hunt unlocked a fresh Bonus Hunt for 14,900 Maple Points; immediately completing that bonus cost 29,800 Maple Points through Bonus Hunt Pass.
Great Octopus Buffet: spend ingredients before completing dailies
Great Octopus Buffet used the same September 24 after maintenance to November 11 at 23:59 UTC period and level/quest requirements as Octo Fest. Tangyoon or the Event List started it. Fatty Octo upgraded Tangyoon's Cooking, while Tender Octo upgraded Arno's Cooking. Their Special Octopus Dish passives applied to participating characters in the same world and ended with the event.

| New cooking level | Ingredients for that upgrade |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 3 |
| 3 | 8 |
| 4 | 13 |
| 5 | 20 |
| 6 | 25 |
An ingredient cost 1,000 Maple Points. Ten of each became available every Wednesday at 00:00 UTC, and the unused purchase allowance accumulated. Resetting every activated dish cost 9,900 Maple Points and returned the ingredients spent, including those bought with Maple Points.

Boss Sol Erda Energy came from the loot box after Hard Lotus or a higher boss. Arcane River and Grandis daily perks applied once per day in each world, when first completing an eligible daily after activation. EXP and extra symbols could be assigned separately to participating characters or quests. Declining a reward allowed another character in that world to claim it after an eligible completion.
Tenebris dailies received only the EXP benefit. Grandis eligibility covered Cernium, Hotel Arcus, Odium, Shangri-La, Arteria, Carcion and Tallahart. Already-finished dailies gained no retroactive bonus, and extra weekly Legion Coins did not count toward coin-related achievements.
Raise a Golden Octopus: claim now or risk a smaller reward
Calico's Raise a Golden Octopus ran September 24 after maintenance to November 11 at 23:59 UTC, with level 101, Zero Act 2 and To Carcion requirements. Event progress was shared across the account. Each week offered three egg types: Golden Octo-egg (Advanced EXP Voucher), Golden Octo-egg (Sol Erda) and Golden Octo-egg (Sol Erda Fragment). Only one egg could be raised at a time.
The September 25 revision clarified two different ownership rules: an egg could move between characters within its world, but its feeding progress remained tied to the character that registered it. The initial feed needed 1,000 kills within twenty levels; every later feed needed 300. No party or a solo party was required, and an octopus allowed at most one hundred feeds. The Feed button or Interact/Harvest prompt performed the feed; a missed prompt could be completed later by holding Feed.
| Current level | Gain one level | Lose one level | Flee and reset to level 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100% | 0% | Not available |
| 2 | 70% | 30% | Not available |
| 3 | 55% | 45% | Not available |
| 4 | 40% | 60% | Not available |
| 5 | 30.7% | 69.3% | Not available |
| 6 | 20.5% | 76.5% | 3% |
| 7 | 15.3% | 81.7% | 3% |
| 8 | 10% | 87% | 3% |
A failed feed could not reduce level 2 further. Unused eggs disappeared Tuesday at 23:59 UTC; eggs could not be collected in the minute before the Wednesday 00:00 UTC distribution reset.
Claiming at level 2 or above ended that octopus and permitted a new one. Each column below belongs to its corresponding egg type, rather than awarding all three types together.

Claims closed November 11 at 23:59 UTC. Rewards could move within the world and were usable until November 12 at 14:00 UTC. Advanced EXP Vouchers required level 260, with Zero Act 2. Sol Erda and Faint Sol Erda required level 260, sixth job and room under the twenty-Sol-Erda limit. Fragment Coupons required level 260 and sixth job; the redeemed fragments were permanent and untradable.
Participation rewards used either total feed attempts, regardless of outcome, or the number of rewards claimed. Four hundred feeds or five claims unlocked Golden Octopus Hat Coupon. Eight hundred feeds or ten claims unlocked Golden Octopus Heart Medal Coupon. Each could be claimed once per account, moved within the world and redeemed until November 12 at 14:00 UTC; the hat and medal themselves were permanent and untradable.
Coral Coin Shop and Meso Shop
Both shops opened after September 24 maintenance and closed November 12 at 14:00 UTC. Coral Coin earning ended earlier, November 11 at 23:59 UTC. Access required level 101, Zero Act 2 where applicable, and To Carcion. Challenger World had already ended on September 23 at 23:59 UTC; characters could use the event after their World Leap.
The Coral Coin Shop's enhancement stock was:

The growth stock's outer items could move within the world and expired November 12 at 14:00 UTC, except untradable Character Slot Expansion Coupon and permanent, untradable Mysterious Monsterbloom. Extra Storage Selector Coupon produced a permanent untradable 40-slot Soul Bag, Chair Bag, Recipe Bag, Scroll Bag or Title Holder, or a 20-Slot Production Bag.
Inventory placement determined which coupon was consumed first; purchased scrolls could enter a configured empty scroll bag. Legendary Circulator did not work on an already-Legendary ability. Character-slot purchases were blocked at the stated 58-character maximum, and unusable extra coupons were still a concern when buying several before reaching that maximum. Extreme Growth Potion required level 130 and could not be used by Burning characters; at level 200 or above it supplied the EXP needed to reach level 199.
The Meso Shop offered these enhancement items and cosmetic selections. Every price below is mesos.

The September 24 correction identified the mustache choice as Carlton's Mustache Selector Box, with Carlton's Bushy Beard, Carlton's Fu Manchu Mustache and the listed Carton's Volume Curl Mustache. Its outer box, the clothing/hair/mount coupons, enhancement items, Android Ear Sensor Clip and Damage Skin Extraction Coupon could move within the world and expired at the shop deadline. Redeemed cosmetics were permanent and untradable. The chairs and display cases were permanent and world-transferable.

The headwear selector offered Pink Teddy Hairband, Brown Teddy Hairband and Panda Teddy Hairband. The outfit selector offered Pink Teddy Outfit, Brown Teddy Outfit and Panda Teddy Outfit. Teddy's Winder Coupon separately supplied the Teddy's Winder back accessory, so the body, headwear and back accessory had separate purchase prices.

Champion Double Up and its individual coin shop
Champion Double Up continued from August 27 through October 21 at 23:59 UTC. It required level 101, with Zero Act 2, and allowed one account participation. The Champion Burning interface or Dame Appropriation started it.

The designation consisted of a Leader and two Followers. Characters could come from the selected main world and its corresponding Challenger World; the selected main world stayed fixed. Designated characters could be replaced only after deletion. Leadership could rotate once a week among the designated Champions. A Challenger character leaping somewhere other than the chosen main world lost its designation and eligibility. The note separately allowed another Challenger character to become Leader if the previous Leader had World Leaped.
The Leader received EXP +15% and damage against normal monsters +15% until reaching 100,000 level-range kills that week. Those records reset Wednesday at 00:00 UTC. The visual following effect reactivated on login or map changes and could be toggled in the Beginner skill tab.

Level-range kills meant enemies within twenty levels, with no party or a solo party. VIP Booster monsters counted. Leader kills generated Double Up EXP Points for the other Champions, at one point per monster, distributed evenly with a weekly 100,000-point cap. Each Champion logged in to claim its points. Mega Burning, Tera Burning and Hyper Burning characters could use them, and unclaimed points survived the weekly reset.

Only the Leader could claim a Double Up check-in after 2,000 qualifying kills. There were three weekly check-ins and twenty-one overall. Each paid 2,500 Double Up Coins to each Champion. A 3,000-Maple-Point Double Up Pass covered a missed check-in and paid the same coins. Unspent coins carried through the Wednesday reset.
The shop closed October 21 at 23:59 UTC. Coin balances and purchase limits belonged to each Champion individually. All stock was untradable; everything except permanent Sol Erda Fragment was usable through October 22 at 02:00 UTC.

Champion Challenge: solo clears and Supreme restrictions
Champion Challenge's event window was September 25 at 00:00 UTC through October 21 at 23:59 UTC. Starting it selected an account world; only that world participated. A Challenger World Leap could change the selected world, move its coins and close the old world's shop. Challenge Coins were shared within that world, unlike Double Up's character balances.
Normal and Supreme missions each allowed three different characters to complete a mission once each. Characters did not have to be Double Up's Leader or Followers, but had to start Champion Challenge. Defeating the boss's last phase supplied the clear. For an unlocked Normal mission, an eligible boss kill could be credited afterward by pressing Challenge even if that button had not been pressed before entry.
| Normal solo mission | Unlock | First character | Second character | Third character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lotus, any difficulty | September 25 after maintenance | 1,000 Challenge Coins | 1,000 | 2,000 |
| Guardian Angel Slime, any difficulty | October 1 at 00:00 UTC | 1,000 | 1,000 | 2,000 |
| Will, any difficulty | October 8 at 00:00 UTC | 1,000 | 1,000 | 2,000 |
| Darknell, any difficulty | October 15 at 00:00 UTC | 1,000 | 1,000 | 2,000 |
After a Normal or Special mission, Supreme was selected on the boss-entry screen. Supreme required a solo clear, started with two deaths, increased damage taken by 20% and reduced Final Damage by 50%. A Supreme clear also counted toward the applicable Normal and Special missions. Completing a Supreme boss in Battle mode prevented entry to that boss's Hard or Chaos difficulty for the rest of the week.
| Supreme solo mission | Unlock | First character | Second character | Third character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hard Lotus | September 25 after maintenance | 20 Supreme Challenge Coins | 20 | 40 |
| Hard Verus Hilla | September 25 after maintenance | 60 | 60 | 120 |
| Chaos Guardian Angel Slime | October 1 at 00:00 UTC | 30 | 30 | 60 |
| Hard Will | October 8 at 00:00 UTC | 40 | 40 | 80 |
| Hard Darknell | October 15 at 00:00 UTC | 50 | 50 | 100 |
The Special mission was a solo Hard Verus Hilla clear, available September 25 after maintenance to three characters, once each. Genesis and Legion Champion modes counted. A post-maintenance kill before starting the event could be credited after starting it and pressing Challenge. Three Special completions awarded Champion Set Coupon and fifty Karma Abyssal Rebirth Flames, world-transferable and usable until October 22 at 02:00 UTC. The coupon chose a permanent untradable Champion Medal or Champion Title. A character that had already received the medal could choose only the title.
The Challenge shops closed October 21 at 23:59 UTC. Unless noted otherwise, purchased items could move within the world and expired October 22 at 02:00 UTC.

Weapon ATT 100% or Karma Prm. Scroll for Acc. Magic ATT 100%. Resulting scrolls lasted seven days and could move within the world. Auto-Store to Bag could route purchased scrolls into the Scroll Bag, and inventory placement determined consumption order.

Cash transfers and the final Challenger World Leap
Cash Shop Transfer ran November 5 at 00:00 UTC to November 12 at 14:00 UTC. An item first entered Cash Inventory; Cash Transfer then selected the receiving character or class and confirmed the move. Stacks could not be split. Friendship Ring, Promise Ring, Potion Pot and EXP Coupon were excluded. The special transfer did not move items within the same job category; ordinary shared Cash Inventory use remained available.
| Cash Inventory category | Included jobs |
|---|---|
| Explorer | Warrior, Thief, Bowman, Magician, Pirate, Dual Blade, Cannoneer, Pathfinder |
| Cygnus | Wind Archer, Dawn Warrior, Night Walker, Blaze Wizard, Thunder Breaker, Mihile |

| Jianghu | Lynn, Mo Xuan |
| Sengoku | Kanna, Hayato |
| Anima | Hoyoung, Lara |
| Shine | Sia Astelle |
Challenger World's play period ended September 23 at 23:59 UTC. Its leap period ran September 24 after maintenance to October 16 at 23:59 UTC, with remaining characters deleted afterward. Up to five characters of level 130 or above could leap. A slot could be added automatically when no open slot existed, but a destination already at its full slot capacity blocked the leap.
Guild membership, a pending guild request or Guild Master status blocked transfer. Cash Inventory, Auction House and Delivery Package items or mesos stayed behind. A coupon-derived background needed extraction through the Mover NPC before the leap. Event coins and shared skills moved to the destination world.
These inventory items also blocked the leap: Mystical Cube, Karma Solid Cube, Karma Bonus Mystical Cube, Karma Star Force 17-Star Enhancement (Lv. 160), Challenger Lv. 4 Special Skill Ring Selector Coupon, Challenger Ring of Restraint, Challenger Continuous Ring and Challenger Weapon Jump S Ring, Challenger Weapon Jump D Ring, Challenger Weapon Jump I Ring or Challenger Weapon Jump L Ring.
Luxe Sauna time and Haunted Mansion rewards
Luxe Sauna ran September 24 after maintenance through November 11 at 23:59 UTC, for level 101 and above, with Zero Act 2. A seven-day, world-transferable Luxe Sauna Coupon added thirty minutes. Alternatively, 3,000 Maple Points added an hour. Charging could not exceed the event's remaining duration or twenty-four hours per week; the weekly recharge allowance reset Thursday at 00:00 UTC.

Sleepywood Hotel's receptionist or the Event List admitted a character with charged time. EXP arrived every five seconds, capped at the amount for level 289. Burning characters were eligible. Time was shared across the account and decreased only inside the sauna; leaving the game paused it. The room's sign displayed the balance, and an empty balance removed the character. Remaining time supplied no EXP after the event ended.

Haunted Mansion ran October 22 at 00:00 UTC through November 4 at 23:59 UTC, for level 101 and above, with Zero Act 2. The Event List sent the character to Extradimensional Haunted Mansion's ninth floor and Anonymous Letter's tutorial. The nine-floor descent disabled skills, fixed Speed and Jump, restricted sight and disabled down-jumping.
The ninth floor had no anomaly; each later floor could contain one. A normal floor required the right portal. A floor with an anomaly required seeing it within the character's view before taking the left portal. An incorrect portal or touching an anomaly returned the character to floor nine. Ctrl activated a three-second Run speed increase.

Rewards came from cumulative daily stabilization completions, claimed through Anonymous Letter at Mansion Entrance or the Event List. The October 22 correction confirmed quantity one for the first, second and fifth milestones; every row below awarded one.
| Daily stabilizations | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1 | Mask Selector Coupon |
| 2 | Permanent Halloween Ghost Mount Coupon |
| 3 | Masquerade Mask Selector Coupon |
| 4 | Halloween Pumpkin Damage Skin (Symbol) |
| 5 | Halloween Background Coupon |
The reward items could move within the world and lasted seven days. Mask Selector Coupon chose Smiling Mask, Crying Mask, Angry Mask or Sad Mask, each permanent and untradable.

Halloween Ghost Mount was permanent and untradable after redemption. Masquerade Mask Selector Coupon offered permanent untradable Fearful Masquerade Mask, Scary Masquerade Mask, Smiling Masquerade Mask, Crying Masquerade Mask or Gloomy Masquerade Mask.

Winter Countdown's two reward schedules
Winter Countdown ran October 15 at 00:00 UTC through November 11 at 23:59 UTC. Level 101 characters, with Zero Act 2 where applicable, started it through the Event List and participated once a day, up to fifteen times.

Each participation unlocked an immediate Countdown Gift and a later Winter Gift. Immediate items could move within the world and expired November 11 at 23:59 UTC. All earned Winter Gifts became claimable November 12 after maintenance, could move within the world, and expired November 18 at 23:59 UTC.
